Do I need to prepare anything for this?

Not at all.

I bring everything with me — wraps, outfits, and simple styling.

You don’t need to plan or organize anything.

And of course…

What if things don’t go exactly as planned?

That’s completely okay.

We always go with the flow and follow your baby’s rhythm.

Feeding, soothing, breaks, unexpected moments — everything is welcome as part of the session. There’s no need for things to go a certain way. We simply work with whatever your baby needs in that moment.

And then...

My home doesn’t really look like a studio — is that okay?

Absolutely.

There’s no need to prepare or change anything in your home.

With a newborn, life is already full of little things everywhere — that’s completely normal.

There's always a simple space I can work with in any home, and studio lighting can be used if needed.

When should I book my newborn session?

The best time to book is during your pregnancy to secure availability. Sessions are usually scheduled within the first 2 weeks after birth, when babies are naturally sleepy and curl into those cozy poses.

Since babies arrive on their own timeline, your session date remains flexible and can be adjusted once your baby is born.

What if my baby is already born?

Many families reach out once baby has already arrived. The ideal window for newborn photography is within the first 2-3 weeks, while babies are still very sleepy and curled up for those classic newborn poses.

Last-minute openings do happen, and I always do my best to accommodate newborn sessions whenever possible.

Do you photograph twins?

Absolutely! Twin newborn sessions are available. Since posing and caring for two babies requires additional time and attention, a $150 surcharge applies. Please contact me for details.

Do I need to pay in advance?

N0 - I don't require a deposit. Payment is collected on the day of the session, so you don't have to worry about paying ahead.

Where does the session take place?

All sessions take place in the comfort of your home, creating a calm and familiar environment for you and your baby.

No travel, no stress, everything is taken care of: styling, props, and gentle baby-led posing.

Do you bring outfits and props?

Yes — I bring a curated selection of wraps, clothing, and simple props, all chosen to complement a soft, natural style.

Can parents and siblings be included?

Parents are always welcome to be part of your session.

If you’d like to include siblings, the Signature Session is designed for that and allows space for those moments to unfold naturally.

Can grandparents or extended family members join the session?

Absolutely! If you would like to include grandparents or other extended family members, please let me know when booking. Sessions involving extended family require additional time for multiple group combinations and are subject to an additional fee.

How long does a session take?

Sessions typically last around 2–3 hours, allowing time for feeding, soothing, and gentle posing.

Each session includes both styled portraits of your baby and relaxed family images/natural lifestyle moments.

Is it safe for my newborn during the session?

Yes - safety always comes first in every session. I use gentle posing techniques based on natural newborn positions and what feels comfortable for your baby. When a pose requires extra support, parents are actively involved and stay close to assist.

What if my baby doesn’t sleep?

That’s completely okay. Sessions are baby-led and follow your baby's rhythm. We take things slowly, with patience and flexibility, and some of the most beautiful images often happen during awake or in-between moments.

What kind of lighting do you use?

I primarily work with soft natural window light to create a timeless look. Professional lighting equipment may be used when necessary to ensure the best results.
